Praetorian - the mere mention summons a feeling of honor and prestige. Praetorian is designated as the 62nd Elite Special Operations squadron of the Emperor's Hammer TIE Corps, one of only four of it's kind. Praetorian Squadron is the personal escort and bodyguard to the Supreme Director of Intelligence, performing special operations missions in support of Imperial Intelligence.
The name Praetorian is in reference to a member of the Praetorian Guard of ancient Rome.
